LifeStraw is a state-of-the-art water filter that utilises microfiltration membrane technology filtering down to 0.2 microns therefore removing 99.9999% of waterborne bacteria and 99.9% of protozoan cysts (making it effective against Giardia, a common problem in Australia and New Zealand!)  Impressively, LifeStraw achieves these results without the use of any chemicals such as iodine! Cleaning of the filter can be easily done by simply blowing out.

At approximately the same price as a box of water purification tablets, and being able to filter a minimum of 1000 litres of water, LifeStraw offers outstanding value.
