Intertrek - Polypropylene Thermal Long Pant
Warmth & Comfort Without Bulk Intertrek polypropylene is soft, warm and comfortable to wear. The Fibre has the highestinsulation power of any fibre. is non-allergenic and does not itch. The garment is cut for 'ultra action'. It hugs the body and moves wherever you move. Intertrek polypropylene garments are highly compact and effective clothing, giving warmth without bulk. Polypropylene has the lowest specific weight (0.91 g/cm) of all textile fibres and is 40% lighter than cotton. You get maximum warmth for minimum weight.
Wickability Polypropylene 'wicks' moisture away form the body to the outside of the fabric. The surface of the skin stays much drier than when using conventional fabrics such as wool and cotton thus eliminating the dangerous chilling effect when perspiration evaporates off the skin.
Quick Drying Polypropylene fibres are hydrophobic, meaning that they in fact shed moisture. As the garment is hung to dry, along with sun and wind, these factors combine to dry the garment cosiderably quicker than other fabrics.
Hard Wearing Polypropylene is tough and hard wearing. It is extremely resistant to tearing and abrasion and is exceptianally colour fast.
Washable Polypropylene is east to wash and may be hand or machine washed in hot water. It drip dries in a few hours, As it is heat sensitive do not tumble dry or iron. Do not dry clean or use bleach. Polypropylene does not absorb stains.
